Dr. Tracy Couillard

Dr. Tracy Couillard grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia, the daughter of a United States Air Force pilot. She has the unique mix of southern grace, courtesy, and hospitality with the discipline and attention to detail that comes from her family’s military background. She works hard to make sure all of her patients enjoy their experience in our office, and she goes out of her way to help everyone feel just as comfortable in her chair as they would at home.

Why did you decide to become a dentist?
For Dr. Couillard, her initial attraction to dentistry had very little to do with teeth, but rather the impact the profession can have on people’s lives. In her words, “It is a job where you can build relationships with your patients as well as help boost their confidence when they feel good about their smile.” One of the best parts about being a dentist is that she gets to meet so many different people and show them that taking care of their teeth doesn’t have to be painful or stressful. To Dr. Couillard, this is important because she knows that oral health is connected to overall health, and a person's smile is connected to their self-confidence.
Where did you study dentistry?
Dr. Couillard received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from the University of Georgia and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Since then, she has completed several continuing education courses through her memberships in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She also maintains an active membership with the Florida Dental Association.
What do you like to do outside of the dental office?
Dr. Couillard is married to her high school sweetheart, Jordan, and they enjoy the Florida weather together with their dog, Rambo. On the weekends, she enjoys staying active by playing golf, but she also likes to stay home and watch Georgia football games. She tries to travel whenever she can, particularly to North Carolina to visit her niece or to Disney World.
