Dr. Macie Berry
Dr. Macie Berry was born and raised in Homestead, FL and believes everyone deserves an equal opportunity to smile. Her mission is to ensure every patient feels comfortable and receives the best possible treatment when under her care. She believes in forming a strong relationship with each of her patients and they are educated on the importance of oral hygiene and preventive care to ensure their smiles last a lifetime.
Why did you decide to become a dentist?
Dr. Berry’s interest in dentistry was first sparked at a very young age through her orthodontist she went to for many years. She started her education as a dance major but knew her heart belonged in the health field. She fell in love with the dental profession because it allows her to build relationships with patients as well as have a positive impact in their life. There is nothing more rewarding to her than seeing how a smile can give someone so much confidence in themselves.
Where did you study dentistry?
Dr. Berry received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Florida Dental Association.
What do you like to do outside of the dental office?
Dr. Berry is a Florida native and enjoys spending time outside with her dog Oakley. In her spare time, she enjoys being on the water boating with family and friends, hunting with her dad and brother, watching FSU football with her mom (Go Noles!) or diving into a good book. She loves to travel and experience different places and her favorite place she has been to thus far is Paris!
